How do you drive donations to cure Childhood Cancer?

ChildFund had a problem: when it came time to getting donations, many of the regular contributors were no longer donating as they had in the past. This was due to donor fatigue and an ageing data list. So when a brief hit our desk to develop a DM pack to raise funds the challenge was obvious: we needed to engage a new audience to get the donation buzz back!

This insight led us to an idea that would drive engagement and create noise. Instead of approaching donors as we had done historically by appealing to their good will, we wanted to give something back. Our idea was to create a series of summer concerts called ‘Sing for a Cure’ where we would get big name acts to play alongside local Musicians and charge for tickets. So that you were able to see cool gigs and buy merchandise while helping to create a cure for children's cancer. Bringing music and people together to create a cure for Childhood Cancer. This video was how we presented and sold the idea.
